EXCHANGE HOUSE TAPESTRIES

Commissioned by Piercy & Co for the reception at Exchange House - part of British Land’s Broadgate estate, the woven tapestry designs abstract the distinctive structural elements of Exchange House's parabolic arches, steel trusses and beams. Bold geometric shapes repeat and diminish in size, with ten patterns representing the ten storeys of the building.

MATTEO FOGALE X KANGAN ARORA

The textile folding screen is a collaboration between Furniture Designer Matteo Fogale and Textile Designer Kangan Arora.

FALLING SHADOWS & COSMIC CHECK for FLOOR_STORY

Falling Shadows draws on arches, openings and architectural forms are picked out with a clean linear aesthetic and simple palette of dual colours.

On the other hand, Cosmic Check is a collection of dancing colours and distorted checkerboard patterns, strikingly contemporary yet drawn from the ancient Indian cosmic arts and board games like Moksha Patam (snakes and ladders).

To celebrate 10 years of collaborations here at FLOOR_STORY, Kangan Arora has designed a brand new edition of the tiled harlequin rug, now available in a flatwoven rug construction with a selective palette.
