Kangan Arora is a designer exploring the ‘culture of the everyday‘ through colour and pattern. Born in India and based in London, her designs explore contemporary languages of colourgeometry, abstraction and playful pattern application.

With a signature style that takes assimilated shapes and unexpected juxtapositions, she brings them to life through screen-printing, weave, digital applications, large scale installations and a range of other mediums.

She has worked extensively across projects both large and small; from geometric floor-to-ceiling tapestries at Exchange House in the City of London, to vibrant homeware and product collaborations for the likes of Tate, IKEA, Wrap and Floor_Story. She has also created bespoke acoustic panels and rugs for The Office Group.

Kangan trained at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design where she is currently a Senior Lecturer in Textile Design.
